VEYRA

1. The app

Veyra lets you practise speaking languages with an AI companion. Conversations are generated by Apple's on-device model. The app requires an Apple Intelligence compatible device (iPhone 15 Pro or later, or an iPad with Apple Intelligence) running iOS or iPadOS 26 or later, with Apple Intelligence turned on. We cannot guarantee availability on other devices.

2. The free version and the 12-hour all-access period

Veyra is free to download. The free version shows ads and includes a limited set of companions, voices and modes. For 12 hours after you first open the app, every Veyra Plus feature is unlocked while ads still show; after that the free version applies unless you subscribe. Some features can also be unlocked for a while by watching an ad.

3. Veyra Plus subscription

• Veyra Plus is an auto-renewing subscription: monthly (US$2.99) or yearly (US$19.99). Prices in other countries are shown in the App Store at purchase.
• New subscribers may get a free 7-day trial. Where a trial applies, you are charged the plan price when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends.
• Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases.
• A trial or introductory offer is available once per Apple Account where Apple's rules say so.

4. Acceptable use

Use Veyra lawfully and for yourself. Do not extract, copy or resell the app's content, reverse engineer it, circumvent its access limits or ads, or use it to harass or harm anyone. Companion characters are fictional AI characters; they do not replace a teacher, therapist or professional adviser.

5. AI content

AI responses can be wrong, incomplete or oddly worded. Language feedback is based on speech recognition and is not a pronunciation score or a certified assessment. Translations into your language are machine translations and may be imprecise. Do not rely on Veyra for medical, legal, safety or exam-result decisions. Romantic companions are for adults (17+) and are never sexually explicit. If you mention self-harm, the companion may suggest a local support line; in an emergency contact your local emergency services.

6. Your content

Your conversations and data stay on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for any photo or text you give the app.

7. Intellectual property

The app, its design, characters and original content belong to the publisher of Veyra or its licensors. Some word-list and dictionary data is used under open licences listed in Settings → About → Acknowledgements. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app under these terms and Apple's EULA.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you cannot waive under your local consumer law.

9. Changes and termination

We may update the app and these terms; continued use after an update means you accept it. You can stop using the app at any time.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without affecting mandatory consumer rights where you live.
